Question 1

What is cannabinoid oil-to-powder technology?

Accepted Answer

It is formulation technology that converts oil-based cannabinoids into powder formats. Aqualipix develops a proprietary process for water-dispersible powders and supports partners in developing their own manufacturing process.

Question 2

What does water-dispersible cannabinoid powder mean?

Accepted Answer

It means the powder can distribute in water as a dispersed phase under appropriate conditions. Dispersion quality and persistence depend on the formulation and the way it is prepared; they need to be tested.

Question 3

How does water dispersibility differ from water solubility?

Accepted Answer

Dispersion distributes a material as droplets or particles; molecular solubility means molecules dissolve in the liquid. A water-dispersible cannabinoid formulation is not necessarily molecularly water-soluble.

Question 4

What influences the onset of oral THC formulations?

Accepted Answer

Onset depends on the formulation, dose, food intake, route of administration and individual physiology. Water dispersibility or a particle-size measurement alone does not establish rapid onset. Aqualipix-specific performance testing is underway.

Question 5

Can oil-to-powder formulations improve bioavailability?

Accepted Answer

They may create development opportunities, but improved bioavailability must be demonstrated for the specific formulation. Powder conversion alone is not proof of improved absorption, a lower effective dose or avoidance of digestion and first-pass metabolism.

Question 6

What affects powder stability and shelf life?

Accepted Answer

Composition, packaging, moisture, oxygen, light and storage conditions all matter. Shelf life must be established through suitable stability testing of the actual formulation and packaging; Aqualipix does not specify a general shelf-life duration.

Question 7

How does Aqualipix differ from conventional microencapsulation?

Accepted Answer

Aqualipix uses a proprietary oil-to-powder process. We do not characterize it as microencapsulation, nanoencapsulation, liposomal or self-emulsifying without confirmed technical documentation. Different approaches cannot be assumed to deliver identical performance.

Question 8

Which dosage forms can be explored?

Accepted Answer

Sachets mixed into water, capsules and orally dispersible tablets are development possibilities. Each requires its own formulation, manufacturing and performance evaluation; not every dosage form is already validated.

Question 9

Who can partner with Aqualipix?

Accepted Answer

Our initial audience is German compounding pharmacies, EU GMP manufacturing facilities and cannabinoid ingredient manufacturers. We begin with consultation and feasibility assessment; the platform covers THC, CBD, minor cannabinoids and acidic forms.

Question 10

What does technology transfer include?

Accepted Answer

An agreed engagement may include proprietary know-how, equipment specification and selection support, formulation and SOP development, EU GMP documentation support, training and ongoing technical assistance.

Question 11

Can Aqualipix support an EU GMP manufacturing project?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through process-development and documentation support within an agreed project. This does not establish GMP certification for Aqualipix or ensure approval. The responsible manufacturer must address qualification, validation and regulatory obligations.

Question 12

What testing and validation are required?

Accepted Answer

Testing is defined for the formulation, intended use and regulatory context. It can include assay, content uniformity, impurities, dispersion, stability and process reproducibility. Bioavailability or onset claims require additional appropriate evidence.

Question 13

Are finished ingredients or processing services currently available?

Accepted Answer

No. The current offering is pilot collaboration and development partnerships to help partners establish their own process. Finished powdered ingredients and contract processing are future opportunities, not available for immediate ordering.

Question 14

How can I request samples or technical information?

Accepted Answer

Start with a consultation inquiry. Technical materials are shared privately by email only after consultation and manual approval. Samples are considered only after consultation; there is no public sample-ordering service.

Question 15

How do I arrange a consultation?

Accepted Answer

Choose “Book a Consultation” and submit the inquiry form. This is not a scheduling calendar. Aqualipix will contact you to arrange a conversation based on your project goals.
